Re: The Potito Starace fan club

Potito is playing Davis Cup this week for Italy against the Dutch in the Netherlands on indoor hard and won 7-5 6-3 2-6 7-6 (2) over Dutch #2 Haase. Bolelli won his first match vs. De Bakker and Italy is ahead 2-0 on the road heading into the weekend! Great performances on the first day. Poto was very exuberant after winning his match.

As for his singles career, his next scheduled tournament is the Biella challenger in Italy next week, and then a week off before the French. Good luck in the Davis Cup and future weeks in singles Poto!

Re: The Potito Starace fan club

Potito and Simone played the double rubbers today as replacements for Lorenzi/Bracciali and won 6-4 3-6 7-6(5) 6-4 to win the match and the tie 3-0 for Italy!!! Potito has a great Davis Cup record and really shines playing for his country. They played a good match and were the better team on the day.

Congrats to Poto and the rest of the Italian team!

Here is the draw for Biella challenger next week:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2010/6125/mds.pdf

Some tough players in his draw, but he should make it through to the semifinals where he could play Simone or Paolo. He loves these challenger events in Italy so I expect him to do very well here.

Good luck in Biella, Potito!

Re: The Potito Starace fan club

He should beat Ginepri, even if it will be a bit tough if Ginepri serves well. Should he get through I think he can give JCF a tough match.

All Italian Players

Especially Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini

Juan Martin Del Potro

Roger Federer

Poto took out former tournament champion Robredo in Hamburg. Class prevails.
