Btw, I made an error.
Carlos is qualified, no matter what happens.

Now Jiri and Andy fight for the last one.
So, Hewitt, Agassi, Safin, Ferrero, Federer, Moya and Costa are qualified.

Now Ill desperately root for Paradorn and that Jiri does NOT retire from Shangai.
All I DONT need is to end the year seeing Roddick at the Masters Cup.

I do see the differenceand I agree.
But it's my impression that Safin yells at the umpire as well.
And I don't think I've ever seen Sampras yell.

But to me the worst thing about Agassi is not when he gets angry, it's that sometimes he just tanks a match and doesn't seem to care -- that I find worse than even the worst temper.

martinatreue, I could not have said it better.

Agassi may be a great player but with this behaviour he does not deserve #1.

Sampras does not yell at the Umpire.. In fact, I've seen him yelled at the audience in OZ open early this year........ How "nice"!!

Well Well Well........ We do not have a well-behaved #1 for a long time already... Simply look at who is the current #1 at the moment!!

True, Hewitt is not exactly a row model either...

But (the incident with James Blake notwithstanding), I think he actuall is similar to Safin more than Agassi
