There is a little article about him today in L'Equipe. He says it makes him laugh to be 1st seed, but he has to admit he also is proud of it.
He played a very good match against Gabash, served especially very well. He's confident, but really tired because it's his 11th tournament in a row since Miami, so he will take a break after Amersfoort. (He would have entered the MD of Toronto, actually, but that's probably a good move.)
Last year he lost to Darcis in the 1st round and wants to revenge for that match.
In Wimbledon, he realized he still has room for improvement. And he has no points to defend until Bucharest, so he can play without any pressure.
