Re: World Group SF: Russia vs Germany

Es geht los.
Tursunov to serve.

Kohlmann (co-commentator) just said Waske had to take pain killers for his elbow before the match...

Re: World Group SF: Russia vs Germany

Petzschner is doing OK so far, he already won a few points at net and just made a really great return, doesn't seem too nervous for his first DC match.

Re: World Group SF: Russia vs Germany

Petzschner is doing more than OK. ^^ So glad he is on the team, he's definitely easier to cheer on than Kohlmann for me.

4-2 Germany, Youzhny to serve now.
The Russian boys are playing really poorly so far.

Re: World Group SF: Russia vs Germany

A couple of nice volleys from Waske on Petzschner's service game.
Still waiting for the Russians to wake up, they aren't doing anything atm.

Russia *3-5 30-30

Lucky return from Petzschner on setpoint (but it's deserved ), 6-3 Germany!

Great volleys again from both Germans in the first service game.
Germany 6-3 1-0*, Tursunov serving for Russia.

Till now, nothing to worry for the german team. Hopefully they win it in straight sets.

Re: World Group SF: Russia vs Germany

I prefer they win in 5 dramatic sets so Youzhny gets a bit tired for tomorrow (+ it's too one-sided so far and also, I wouldn't mind watching Petzschner a little bit longer).

Petzschner holds to love, 6-3, 2-1*
