I thought he'd go for the cross-court but that was simply stunning

Re: Saturday (9/8/07) OOP & Scores

The Davydenko volley at 15-30 was great.

The Federer second serve at 15-40 was great.

The Federer net play at 30-40 was great too.

The Davydenko FH at 40-40 was ridiculously good.

That whole game was filled with brilliant tennis.

Both guys were on fire and it was a joy to watch. Problem is with two guys like this it never lasts long before one of their levels drops.

Another 3 BPs blown by Fed.

*sigh*

Fed's break point conversion percentage is pathetic.

Re: Saturday (9/8/07) OOP & Scores

what's with Fed? He doesn't usually go up 40-0 on somebody's serve and then not break? or finding it so hard to break when he does break

Two winners. Federer can't break always and Davydenko played them well.

He's playing so defensive on them, it's amazing for such a great player.
