Re: Andy Roddick's "Who Cut the Cheese?" Thread!!!!

Hee! Some of you probably thought Roger actually lost a match and that a new fart was being posted. Sorry. No farts today. The cheese stands alone.

I just decided to peruse this thread because I had forgotten what Roger looks like when he loses. 69-6 record, get out of here! Only six people have managed to slice and dice the cheese this entire year. SIX. That's incredible. I knew these cheese-cutters would be the elite of the elite.

But actually, if you look at the list of Roger-conquerors and the matches they played, I would say that of the six, only two actually managed to outplay Roger (Tim Henman at Rotterdam and Guga at the French Open). All the others I would call fluke wins. That is, Roger was either injured, sick, or just flat-out exhausted. However, I still can't come up with a good excuse as to why Roger lost to Berndych at the Olympics. He must've just tanked it.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Andy Roddick's "Who Cut the Cheese?" Thread!!!!

Federer is trying to out do his fellow countrywoman, but I dont think he will EVER get close to Hingis' 1997 run, that was just insane and she also played just about every big tournament and won them all.

I would have preferred if Andy had beaten Federer in the final.
Anyhow, well done to Safin.

You're not kidding. He laid the mother of all cheese cutters, didn't he? :retard:

I think Roger's 2004 was better than Marti's 1997.

Yes, Marti had only 5 losses compared to Roger's 6... but the level of competition was much much lower for Marti. 1997 was the lost year between the Graf/Seles era, and the start of the Williams/Lindsay era.

Plus, Roger won 3 slams AND the Year-End Championship.

Re: Andy Roddick's "Who Cut the Cheese?" Thread!!!!

French farts are by far the smelliest. Unless everyone's computer comes with a scratch 'n sniff, I don't think I'll be able to post one that fully characterizes Dicky's win over our Cheese Boy.
