Sorry, with the way Nalbi's playing I'd take him. But yeah, it's still not bad.

Oh man, he needs to do something about his hair. And the wink one is hilarious.

I like the shirt, though. And the glasses are better than the ones usually wears, so good.

Yeah, but Nalby also tends to really show up for the slams. Maybe he won't this year but yeah. I mean Ljubicic is still preferable to most, and the way he underperforms in slams, Andy would have to like his chances who knows, but it could've been a lot worse, and there was 50/50 chance he'd be in Rafa or Roger's quarters and I'd definitely prefer Ljubicic to either of them.

As for the glasses, they're a lot better probably b/c they're actually Lacoste

Indeed, I hadn't thought about that. Plus, he's on Rafa's side of the draw as well, which makes it even more likely for him to get to the finals. But let's not think so far ahead.

And that's so true.

Re: Taking Back New York (Andy's US Open Thread!!!!!!!!)

I agree that from the top 4 seeds, Ljubicic is the best fit for Andy. Roger would obviously be the worst, Rafa-Nalbandian are dangerous from the baseline but if Andy is on, Ljubicic is dangerous only if he serves like a madman, like he did in the late rounds of Miami for example. However, he has never performed at his best in slams. I think Gasquet will take him out in the 3rd round.

Re: Taking Back New York (Andy's US Open Thread!!!!!!!!)

i dont usually post here...but i have to say i am very optimistic about andy's chances at the usopen. I like andy against both ljubo and nadal, if he comes out aggressive and on a mission like he did in cincy. Against roger, i think a lot of people will be surprised at how close the match will be if they do meet in the final. I have always felt in their matches that andy has never served to his potential against roger. I can only recall one set of one match where his serve hovered at 70%(masters houston semi). For andy, anything is possible in new york.
