Will I get to see Dean!!!!

In a bid to revive his fortunes, Thailand tennis ace Paradorn Srichaphan has hired Dean Goldfine as a part-time coach, commencing with the Indianapolis tournament next week.

Re: The "Andy, give us something to get excited about" hardcourt season thread (Indy).

Flip didn't get a WC, he got a Special Exempt (he's playing Newport, so he can't be in Indy for qualies).

Dean can coach both Paradorn and Amer, if the 'part-time' bit in the Paradorn story is true.

Amer is lovely, that's the deal about him No photo does justice to the loveliness that he is person.

Justin will probably pull out, depending on his Newport results, so we could see a Blake-Safin match, that could be fun.

Andrew, get it in gear...

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

As much as I love James, it kills me to see him as the first seed...ahead of Andy.

Don't worry MugglesMani, neither do I

Personally, I don't have a problem with James being the No. 1 US player. He deserves it, he's been playing better than Andy has. We all know that when Andy's confident and playing *his* game he would still be No. 1. The title is merely on loan.

And besides, I don't mind watching Andy and James switch top and bottom positions. Variety is good.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

I think I'll just get myself over there (just in case!).

If he screws up with this draw, I think I'd need to do something stronger than just kicking him.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

I guess it pays to be the 2nd seed...he's got a much better draw than James!

Rooting for: Roddick | Federer | Blake| Fish | Bryans | Gasquet | Querrey | Baghdatis | Verdasco | Kimmy
Missing: Andre | Safin | Women's tennis

So he is playing doubles as well, with Bobby Reynolds.
