I'm sure he does feel like shit deep inside - whether James passes him or not. I'm sure we all know what it's like to try at something and for it just to keep not going your way. And then when Andy was finally playing some good ball he got hurt, and then this thing and that thing, etc.
naw, he is trying his best. there is something that he simply just can't completely work through. he has made progress in the last few months but he has still lost matches he should have won (Haas in Houston, today, etc). The things that bother me about today are that i didn't see any gameplan. He just looked lost and that turned into a lack of focus at the big stages. It's not like he was like "Ok I am gonna take there first strike in the rally to not let James do it" or "ok I'm gonna get to net as much as I can" or whatever it may have been. There just seemed to be no strategy. And considering that James's game is about as open a book as one can have, I don't understand this.
Another thing was his body language. He revealed early on that he was gonna be negative an cranky. And a guy like James who knows him as well as he does and stuff is going to take advantage of that, and he did. He needs to learn how to fake it, even if he's not feeling it inside, he's gotta keep an even keel outside. He must suck at live poker, no wonder he plays it online so much
And the last thing is the stuff he said in the interview. But we've been over it already no need to do so again. I hope they're smokescreen. I don't care as much what he says or what John writes on his site, I care what they are thinking and talking about amongst themselves and I just hope that they're not really thinking his form is fine and that he played fine today.
