It was nice, thanks
I mean, it was a Texas wedding, a smaller-town texas wedding at that, so it was interesting
The reception (party) was pretty, well, lame. People started leaving and then my friend and her new husband were like "I guess we should leave now" and the party had only gone on for about 2 hours. The group of us from school were the only ones who were even dancing most of the time, and the food was edible and not much more... I'd be horribly disappointed if that was my own wedding but I don't think my friend cared. It all seemed to go off without a hitch though, so I guess that's what matters. But as my mom said.... it wasn't a Jewish wedding, and that explains it
I took a bunch of pics and a lot of them didn't come out well (I used my mom's camera for the first time b/c I wanna get used to it for my trip and some of the people i gave my camera to to take pictures managed to get blurry pictures of non-moving people
), but I will go through them sometime when I get a chance (really need to catch up on studying and failing miserably
). It was really really great to see some of my best friends from college, that was the best part for me. For a day or so, I felt like I was back 3 years ago and those were the best times of my life so it was just really nice for me
aww, sounds good!
shame about the reception but at least the happy couple enjoyed themselves I suppose!
I can imagine it was good to see your college friends, it's hard to be far away from people who you shared such good times with!
