Re: Which board hosts the dumbest tennis fans?

Today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It probably would've been worse had Roger won simply because the Fedtards outnumber the Rafatards 3 to 1.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

and most of the hard core rafa tards live at VR.com.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

They say you learn more from losses than from wins, if that's true then Federer has learnt very little over the past couple of years. I just hope there is a new approach of some kind if it's the same final in California.Nadal outguns Federer to win Dubai 2-6 6-4 6-4

"i heard roddick is going to take tennis serious again as soon as the academy
award parties are over." http://groups.google.com/group/rec.s...500bd8ecf6b454

I love Roddick fans at google!!! They're the few knowledgeable fans out there.

The hatetards there deny so much.

"Which chokers? Hewitt, Safin, Agassi, Roddick? Whatever else they might
be those guys aren't chokers"
Yes. We know Roddick played at his peak...no doubt about it. And Davydenko didn't choke away 6 set points in Australia.

Re: Which board hosts the dumbest tennis fans?

So I go into GM to sift through the usual trash and to quote deb: holycrapdeath!!! Are these people for real?

A small sample of GM genius (added smilies courtesy of me )

To be quite honest, Roddick wasn't so bad....

I watched the game on tv and Roddick did his best game in years!....

Roddick didn't play badly...

Roddick played the match of his life. But simply, his best isn't any good.....

As good as Andy played, he was still very nervous for the important moments. ....

Gee, I can't wait to go home and see what a "brilliant" match Andy played. Clearly, it's one of the best he's ever played in his life.

You know, I didn't even see the match but I do know that 35% first serves and 50+ UE's where half of them came off your strong forehand side isn't considered good playing by anyone's stretch of the imagination.

Not surprisingly, most of these inane comments came from the Fedtards.

GM.

Wow. wow. and wow.

Re: Which board hosts the dumbest tennis fans?

It wasn't Andy's best match but it was an exciting match from the second set onwards. It was very competitive and even Andy's aces weren't that boring! Ferrer is the kind of guy runs in every direction and returns everything. Andy did good by keeping up during the rallies and even won some of them. It's worth watching your tape but remember to skip the first set! It was baaaad.

So Bloss it won't be too bad if I skip the first set?

Re: Which board hosts the dumbest tennis fans?

You can see glimpses of the old good Roddick in the last 2 matches he played. He's not back 100%, not even 85% yet but there is some improvement and it's all mental. He really seems to care now and that's good. I also like the replay thingy. It seems to help Andy not to get too stressed about bad calls even if he's wrong.
He challenged twice today and he was right once and wrong the second time

I'm being repetitive but if he seems to care it makes me care too.

Hey now, nothing wrong with not playing tennis. Or being able to, rather. :P

Noelle, I can't say I've visited that place often so I can't really judge, but as far as I can see it you're better off without them. If you can't even survive there then there really is no hope for the rest of us.

Since I don't visit any of the other options in the poll I won't vote, even though I'd love to vote for the folly of the Croatards and the 'Federer is GOD' idealists.

Oh, and you know Roddick is nolonger - still not? - a threat to Roger when the Fedtards start praising bad matches of his.

Fan of:
David Ferrer , David Nalbandian, Nicolas Almagro, Feliciano Lopez, and Juan Monaco
