But the good thing to come out of this is that we get a long awaited Hewrray match. Todays winner was Murrittness.

I still would have prefered a Roddiwitt match instead.

If he can coach Andmy to beat Andy over the phone, Andy has serious problems.

However, the next move is to pick up his pension.

The Tennis Diet:
On the eve of the Roddick/Cilic match, my brother made Seafood Marinara. Can't eat it,
it's not part of the diet; it is enemy food. ie. Marin-ara Cilic.
I also did not eat Curry 'cos it rhymes with Murray.

Re: What should Andy do next?

I think Andy's such an open book right now of how to beat him that Murray may not have even had to talk to his coach over the phone. I feel like even I would have a chance to beat him right now.

Totally transparent - guess on his serve and block it back, then go after his backhand. Easy as cake.

Ack.

I read somewhere he said something along the lines of 'he blocked my serve back and then we were pretty much even [in the rally]'? Shouldn't he, as the world number 3, more senior experienced player with a major title in the bank, feel that even in the rally he has the upper hand? I mean REALLY. Jeez.

Yes of course. Especially considering Murray is a COUNTERPUNCHER! Andy's supposed to be the aggressive baseliner, yet he was out-winnered 25 to 14. That's BAD. A guy like Marcos hits more winners, ok b/c Marcos is a shotmaker. but Murray? he's a counterpuncher. Andy should've looked at last night's stat sheed and gotten really angry about it.

I hope he did. But it takes alot for him to get mad for such a volatile person. He got pissed after the loss to Muller and changed...oh wait, nothing.

I've seen Murray play alot, even live, and he waits and waits in the rally for time to pull the trigger. Usually it doesn't work against the higher ranked players because they hit a winner long before he's ready to step up himself. He usually just slices his way into the rally, and Andy got outwinnered? The mind boggles.

Re: What should Andy do next?

Since Sampras is playing River Oaks International the first week of April,
maybe Andy should enter there & see if he can beat Pete!

Ouch, beaten in straight sets by a teenager without a coach.

Sure, Andy should join the senior tour next year. I bet he can't beat J Mac.

Maybe he should get a supportive boyfriend.
