No, he won't. because I will KILL him if he does. He got away with it last year because he was in a fire and saved people's lives. No, not gonna get away with that again.

It's only a mild sprain

I hope Rome comes burning down again so that Andy will have a good excuse to skip the clay season again.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Houston? wow, we do know him well, hes skipping MC to play an american clay event, that messes up everything, his schedule his travelling its the Andy we al know and want to shake hard...yup things are back to normal

will he ever play MC? ever?

The Tennis Diet:
On the eve of the Roddick/Cilic match, my brother made Seafood Marinara. Can't eat it,
it's not part of the diet; it is enemy food. ie. Marin-ara Cilic.
I also did not eat Curry 'cos it rhymes with Murray.

I fangirl for Roddickulous, Youzhless and the Djoke.

Re: Sometimes, good news deserves its own thread.

If he skips Rome he might as well go on the grasscourts and start preparing for Wimby and forget Clay Season
At least the injury isn't serious
P.S. Has he ever played in MC?

Re: Sometimes, good news deserves its own thread.

Yea, Rodney, he played in 2002 and 2003

He made R16 in 2002 (which was by far his best clay season ever) and lost first round in 2003.

oh, this doesn't make the news sound quite as good But, again, sounds like definitely no Monte Carlo...

Roddick, wrist in cast, hopes for April 18 return

-- Charles Bricker
Posted March 27 2005

Andy Roddick's sprained right wrist has been placed in a cast, and he will not pick up a racket for at least seven or eight days, his spokesman said Saturday. An MRI taken Friday night after he retired from his second-round match against Fernando Verdasco shows considerable inflammation but no structural damage.

Roddick was described as "definitely in" one of his favorite tournaments, the U.S. Clay Court Championships in Houston, beginning April 18, where he was runner-up to Tommy Haas a year ago. He is not certain, however, to play an exhibition event in Houston, River Oaks, on April 14-15.

Now where did I put my pointy healed shoe?

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?
