Jace

That quote reminds me of Wimbledon; when Roger walked away with the trophy but Andy won their hearts. Very cool.

And as Deb said, Andy will win RG 10 times. Because Tommy Robredo will also make the RG finals 10 times.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Tournements that Andy is due to win!

Here's Roddick's unclaimed GS chances (He'll never win the French Open as much as i think he's Agassi's successor as the next immediate USA great)

He'll win the AO in 2006 (Andre wins 2005 AO in his farewell tour)
He'll get Wimby after Tim Henman does. (Hey if Ivanisevic can pull it off, why not Henman)

Bam, are you a Henman fan too. I really like Tim's style of play and I'd love to see him win a major title. Britain would implode from the excitement.

Not really, but i'm rooting for him in Wimby cause i'd love to see a homer win Wimbledon.

Re: Tournements that Andy is due to win!

If Marat is playing well enough to beat Roger in 5 sets, I think he'll win. And Andy needs to get through Lleyton first, I don't want to think that far ahead.

Re: Tournements that Andy is due to win!

Marat missed a lot of 1st serves and had to save break points at 15-40.
He also went down 0-30 several times before serving his way out of that.

Marat was down 5-2 in the tiebreak 4th set.
Federer missed 1st serves & double faulted, then hit the ball between his legs to lose his match point. He managed to serve 22 aces.

4 hours and 28 minutes
