Re: Summer Hardcourt & Olympics

Haven't added my contribution to this thread yet

I mixed up the starting time of the match, and, when I wanted to start watching Andy was losing 1:6, 1:0. So, I didn't see anything from the medical time-out and didn't even know that there might be something wrong with him. But I felt that he can turn around this match as losing a random set to a player of Muller's level (no disrespect meant) doesn't mean anything. So happy for another title

Really looking forward to Olympics Best of luck, Andy!

Re: Summer Hardcourt & Olympics

Could somebody please give me a breakdown of Andy's Olympic draw and when is he scheduled to play? Thanks in advance.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Summer Hardcourt & Olympics

LOL - he's definitely not screwed. Of all of the top 4 he matches up against Djoker the best and of all of the top 4 Djoker is having the biggest slump. I have to think this is good...a win over Novak would make the tournament for him.

Re: Summer Hardcourt & Olympics

Well, not off to a good start in doubles weird to see andy look so short next to john

well they lost. Andy was really terrible at net, quite frankly.

should be singles tomorrow for Andy... don't think he'll be in mixed.

Re: Summer Hardcourt & Olympics

He served fine, several aces etc. Hard to tell for sure, but I feel pretty confident saying his shoulder was not a factor. It was his play at net that was a much bigger problem. And I think the fact that they had simply never played together before. And they were playing against doubles specialists.

Re: Summer Hardcourt & Olympics

So Andy's match was postponed today, he's on first tomorrow at 11:30am and if he wins plays novak, who didn't look unbeatable
