Andy Roddick's ace appeal
11jan05

TENNIS star Andy Roddick may have one of the world's fastest serves, but he sent over a few easy ones yesterday to help tsunami victims.

Roddick, in town for the Australian Open, faced 12 junior tennis players in a special fundraising event.
For each serve they returned, sportswear giant Reebok donated $250 to Care Australia.

The event raised $10,000 for the charity's tsunami appeal. Roddick said some of the young players had great returns.

thats brilliant of andy, yay
boy they musta been good at returning, maybe he slowed it down in the interest of raising more monies...i'd do that (i dont need to slow my serve down, its barely moving thru the air)

The Tennis Diet:
On the eve of the Roddick/Cilic match, my brother made Seafood Marinara. Can't eat it,
it's not part of the diet; it is enemy food. ie. Marin-ara Cilic.
I also did not eat Curry 'cos it rhymes with Murray.

I fangirl for Roddickulous, Youzhless and the Djoke.

It's a charity, people! Andy isn't there to model. The kids like him a lot. How many kids adore other players?????
