I agree that W-S will reveal a lot about his form. he actually didnt play that badly (considering he's barely played most of the year) until his brain went missing late in the 2nd set. Do you really think it's about the coach though? Andy's had some of the best coaches in tennis throughout his career and he's never listened to any of them that much. at this late stage in his career do you think he would listen to someone new any more?
Winston Salem has an awesome field actually, I would compare a win there to a win at Queens before Wimbledon or something. I also, agree he didn't play that bad, on the contrary I thought he played a great TB and a great return game to get that 4-2* lead. I think getting broken was a lack of match play/confidence issues, which could be cured with a few wins.
Wouldn't you agree that when he makes coaching changes and has a new voice behind him, pushing him...he's had the best results in his career? Think about Brad, Jimmy and Larry, they all came on after bad losses or slumps and immediately there was a change. I think Andy knows this too...so if the USO is a bust, I expect a change to come in the off season. Not because Larry is a bad coach but because Andy will need a new coach.
Btw, Tangy...I was totally surprised how much coverage that outburst got him. I wouldn't even rate that top 5 in his career and yet it was a top story on SportsCenter, a 2 minute segment on PTI and friends of mine that don't even hardly watch tennis were sending me the story, like "did you see this?". I am just thinking, man it must be a slow sports week if tennis controversy got this much coverage. LOL.
