Andy and Tarik are never splitting!

Ok, you guys know how they're all talking about how Andy's gonna split up with Tarik and get another coach? Dude, people are so weird... WHERE do they get all these rumours?! Gere's Andy on Tarik, fresh from ar.com from Paris, baby! I like how they've been together since Andy was 12- that's almost a decade now! Tarik really knows all of Andy's weak and strong spots... he's a great coach... great for Andy! Good job, Tarik!
---------
Rumors have persisted in recent weeks that a split between the two was imminent, but Roddick, in Paris for this weekend's Davis Cup semifinal against France, said that was not the case.

"People are talking - I don't know where that comes from. I don't think anything could be further from the truth," said Roddick.

He added that while Benhabiles would not be able to coach him in a Davis Cup context, he would be in town for the encounter with France and "I can look up at Tarik and find some support."

Roddick said his coach would also be able to give him moral support before and after the matches at Roland Garros.

Well, good for him!! Always nice relationship between these two. It's better to have someone who really understand you. Give them time.

Wish Andy best in the semi final of Davis Cup.!!!!!

# About his coach, Tarik Benhabiles, Roddick said:" I love him to death, he's my best friend, he's part of my family."#

Re: Andy and Tarik are never splitting!

not really...

It sounded like Tarik was just as emotionally volatile as Andy. One thing Brad pretty much indisputably has helped Andy with is keeping his head in matches. now it does not always work, but it certainly worked last summer.

Tarik sounds like a wonderful man and a wonderful coach but I think his and Andy's time together came to an end around the right time.

yea I agree but, lol, I just think it is funny that they said, no way Tarik and Andy are splitting, and yet, this is the time they split.

Not really. Those posts were in September 2002, and Andy didn't dump Tarik until the first of June 2003.

oh hoho, good work star, I didn't even look at the date, I just heard them talking about his results in Paris...lol...but, still, it's funny just because they said, they are never splitting.
