Yes...apparently he was there. It would not be very good if he pulled out now, especially since SAP is one of his sponsors. Unless light just dawned on Marblehead (as they say) and he realized he has a tournament to play tomorrow and he's grossly unprepared?
Hi all of you. I just lurk here usually but live in Austin with tennis playing daughter and Roddick looms large in her tennis crowd as he practices often as a club where the juniors often play.
I'd have to say his itinerary over the last few days (Miami and NY) suggests no practicing - whether for the arm or because he doesn't want to. I expect a late withdrawal today.
Kind of silly if you ask me, he's supposed to be playing tomorrow and he's only getting his shoulder looked at today? I love him and all but that's a bit ridiculous. It just may have more to do with being unprepared. Isn't Memphis next week and then the week after is Dubai and then Miami and Indian Wells? Clearly more important tournaments coming up so if he wants the shoulder to be 100% obviously that's important but he could have at least pulled out last week..

Re: Spring US HC season
How does pulling out at the last minute help the tourney? People just get mad and demand refunds - remember the vegas debacle? and withdrawing this late just makes him look even worse - especially since the local paper published an article a few days ago quoting the tourney director as saying he was going to be fine.
It is, Deb! I need to stop responding today and actually get some work done but I'm excited tomorrow will be a snow day so I can't really focus on getting any work done! Andy drama is more entertaining, haha!
