Sorry, creative juices aren't flowing for the title... Andy's supposed to play Beijing next week then the Shanghai Masters, Valencia, Paris, and hopefully the tour finals....
darn I don't come in as much as I used to, thanks everyone for the updates, if I wasn't on twitter and following Andy I wouldn't know what was going on. Hmm Knowles as doubles partner, interesting - still nice to see him doing both now if I could only watch a match but with the time difference and my schedule I guess I will have to put up with the scores lol!
wow, that came up fast. Obviously I won't see you before you leave, but I hope we can find a time to meet up when you get back and before any potential holiday madness sets in.
Mark's playing with Andy because Mahesh is injured and it's hard for a doubles specialist to find another decent doubles player on short notice who hasn't already pre-entered with someone else.
Mark tends to play with Americans if Mahesh has a week to week injury or another commitment (Mark played with Mardy Fish in Delray Beach last year and Memphis this year and partnered James Blake in Basel of 2007).
Maybe Mark can trade some volleying tips for some suggestions on how to hit a bigger serve.
Thanks for the info Fitz (JMG's playing in Sacto this week, by the way). I saw Mahesh posted something on Twitter about a trip to NYC, figured that might have something to do with it. Hope they are playing again in time for the WTF (I get perverse pleasure typing that acronym).
I really don't have any words, didnt think he would crash out in FIRST match. The racquet certainly suffered too
Have fun Deb!
