ESPN Classic will re-run great US Open matches
The US Open is still a month away, but you can relive the five-set classic 1980 final between top-seeded Bjorn Borg and second-seeded John McEnroe tonight.
Continuing its Countdown to the US Open, ESPN Classic will replay the 1980 final starting tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
"He was the greatest rival of my entire career," said McEnroe. "It’s nice to feel like you’re in a small way part of tennis history. Of all the guys, there was this incredible magical connection between Bjorn and I that brings extra excitement to the events we play together."
