lol lol...another 10+ shot rally...Clement errors again...first serve miss, who bets that Clements goes back to Andy's forehand...broken..Clement is gassed...grinding out wins is ok, but crushing opponents is what I was hoping for in 09'

andy's choking serving for the match against CLEMENT. Really really not a good sign

Choke saved. Clement gives up on the final point. Andy cheers.

Finally, GSM. But the fact that Clement had triple break point in the first place...not good.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

I mean... he hit a couple good ones...Now we can only dream about that forehand, when he was sponsored by Reebok...

Anyway, at least he won

Re: Andy's 2009 Season Live Scoring Thread (Doha, Post 30)

lmao, and here I was thinking we were in for a TB and another set. Though, I would've liked to see him do a little what he had been talking about before the season started (ending points earlier, being more aggressive and taking risks, etc.).

At least he won, that's what counts, I guess.

Re: Andy's 2009 Season Live Scoring Thread (Doha, Post 30)

Hmmm well if it is any consolation Roger was struggling too and his opponent was no slouch either. Also it didn't help that Clement took a time out but hey he won.

Wow, he won a set without being broken

Re: Andy's 2009 Season Live Scoring Thread (Doha, Post 30)

Up another break, 5-2, serving for the match.

It's been pretty obvious in his games so far, of course, but still--gotta say it again, his [improved] movement on the court is awesome. I love it when he runs down points (even more when he wins 'em ).
