Yeah, and ONLY Giada could look that good in scrubs just after giving birth. I want to kill her for it except that the world benefits from her damn cuteness.

Congrats Andy, Congrats Brooke. Take your time, enjoy the engagement, no need to rush into the ceremony just because clay season is coming up.

Could someone keep an eye on all the AR.com teenies? This could get ugly.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Re: Roddick is engaged to be married!

I met my husband when I was 18 and he was 28. He proposed within 2 months. My parents wouldn't give consent, said I was too young, the age difference was too great, it would never last.

We married as soon as I was 21 (the age of majority at that time) and have been married for over 45 years.

So, 20 and 25? Pah. Nothing.

Re: Roddick is engaged to be married!

Exactly. Yours sounds exactly like the difference between me and my girlfriend, except the ages are reversed.

5 years is nothing.

Yea especially in the west i think. I mean, even i consider it early living somewhere where people can get married at 17-20

I can't stand Andy anymore, but good too know that someone finds him likable.....off court.

And the age difference is nothing, just a little early to get married IMO. Although it was quite the norm years ago.

This must be why he's not attending the Olympics. His engagement schedule must have conflicted. -_-

Re: Roddick is engaged to be married!

I do not think that four months of dating is all that long to decide to get married. My wife and I knew within about a month of dating that we would get married. That said, we were already in our thirties.

Maybe your 3-year wait helped your marriage last this long ? I mean, you had time to think about it and get ready, whereas wedding after only a few months might have brought some desillusions...

Besides, it's kinda obvious age gap doesn't always mean the same : a 3 year older brother seems soooo much older and wiser when you 10 than when you're 30. When you're 18, 21 or 25, you're at a different stage of life, your "path" is more or less defined, and that does matter, I think.
