Re: DC LIVE SCORES THREAD d:

Boy, Andy's got a big mouth, I heard him scream right over the crowd.

Black Adam, sure no problemo.

I'm leaving work now, finish the job Andy, and good luck James.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

I love this game

Re: DC LIVE SCORES THREAD d:

Whoever said the home crowd wouldn't be a factor (GWH?) was wrong. So wrong. Today showed just how nervous everybody was, including Andy (who needed like 7 SP to put away Dima in the first set), and both Dima and Misha were choking.

First day nerves. Tomorrow might be a different story.

You're not a bad person. I'd love to see Andy have his moment of glory too but I think he had his today. The Bryans will soak up the rest of it tomorrow, and it's fitting that they would get the spotlight because they've been wanting DC as long as Andy has, and they have always been the dependable guaranteed point, every year, no matter the surface.

Yes, when James is looking focused like that it can only mean that good things are about to happen.

*edit*

Except when he decides to flake out and lose third set TBs. :retard:

Re: DC LIVE SCORES THREAD d:

I watched James until 2am but couldn't stay awake anymore. I went to bed just after he lost the 3rd set TB and had a horrible feeling I would wake up to a 5 setter defeat. What a surprise, he made it!!
