GOOD LUCK, ANDY!!!!

but PLEASE, don't draw Kiefer, Haas or Mayer (if he qualifies) in the 1st round ... such a match-up would bring me into a very tight spot

lol, maybe he could need it more for Queen's or Wimbledon
I'm sure Guille can need every good wish for the green grass since he has not much experience on that surface and not a good record either
but I think maybe can do even better than we/I expect him
(but I appreciate Coria's and Moyá'a decisions very much to show up on grass, too)
BTW, I'm heavily convinced of Moyá's abilities on grass... VAMOS, Carlos!!!!

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

well I think all three of those guys would have a very good shot at beating Andy in the first round, or at least give him a great bit of trouble.

I love you Xavier but please please please get drawn to meet Andy in the first round!!!

Re: GOOD LUCK ANDY IN ROLAND GARROS!!!

It's strange to think that Kiefer could actually cause Roddick more problems on clay than Malisse, but that's just a testament to the X-Man's total uselessness whenever he meets Roddick. Robredo, he just doesn't have enough game to trouble Roddick whatsoever, hence his failure to win a single set against him even on clay, but if Malisse could be bothered to change his playing style a little he has enough weapons to bother Roddick. He outaced him at the US Open last year, for a start, but did nothing in the rallies except feed lovely, elegant strokes back down the court to Roddick without ever taking the ball on.

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: GOOD LUCK ANDY IN ROLAND GARROS!!!

blah, Malisse couldn't do anything in that match. Andy was on fire, and looked like a seasoned pro up at net! that match he was hitting the best volley's I'd have ever seen him hit, he was doing half volleys, stretch volleys, pick up volleys, just good stuff. Oh and Sjeng, since when is aces everything uhoh, Andy relied on the rest of his game in order to win, not aces what is the world coming to.

Re: GOOD LUCK ANDY IN ROLAND GARROS!!!

A higher ace count than Roddick shows that your serve is as strong as his, which I would have thought is pretty essential if you're going to beat him. Malisse was totally passive for the first two sets, but then had two breakpoints to serve for the third set, two setpoints at 5-4, and then led by a minibreak in the tiebreak and threw every one of those chances away.

I mean, who else in their right mind would win the first set against Roddick on a North American hardcourt and then win a grand total of two games in the next two sets? Only the X-Man.

I give X-Man credit though. He's probably one of the most talented guys all around on the tour. He has the natural ability it's always been a menal thing for him. He needs a good coach or someone to give him a mind transplant or sumtin'
