Re: The "8 days and counting" Potterlicious thread!

It's ok. Like McNeglecter McSarah (I feel like I change your name every time I say it Sarah lmfao), I refuse to believe Sirius is dead. He was also way too hot in my mind to die

Re: The "8 days and counting" Potterlicious thread!

Sirius isn't really dead. I don't believe it. Cuz doesn't the book just say he fell through the veil. BOOK SEVEN BOOK SEVEN BRING SIRIUS IN BOOK SEVEN!!!

Re: The "8 days and counting" Potterlicious thread!

I saw order of the phoenix this afternoon, and I effing hated it. I can't even begin gah. The only part I liked was when they were all at the ministry, that was it.

Everyone I've talked to either loved it or hated it. There's no middle ground.

I was always curious as to if anyone knew, other than the Order and some professors, that Sirius was an innocent man and Harry's godfather.
i don't think it was ever mentioned out loud who knows and who doens't and how fudge got convinced. it might have added another 5 chapters to the book

I wouldn't have minded extra chapters

So JKR said we'll either love the 7th book or "loathe" it |: I don't want to loathe it!

Omg everyone........I just saw the movie. I seriously don't know if I liked it or not. Very weird feeling, seems like so much is missing

Re: The "7 days and counting" Potterlicious thread!

There is only one way I will loathe the seventh book, and if it's the ending is happy-go-lucky. I feel like if she would turn around and be all like "And they lived happily ever after" that she cheated us and underestimated our investment in the books. I mean, obv I don't want any of the trio to die or anything, but I would feel cheated if the series ends in a meadow full of marigolds.

Re: The "7 days and counting" Potterlicious thread!

Carole :/ Of course things are missing from the movie...it's a 800+ page book. Honestly, I'd love nothing more than a 4 hour Harry Potter movie that covered the whole thing, but sadly we ain't gonna get that ): But was a lot really missing from it? ):

Jo doesn't seem like the person who'll make it superly happy, given the past 2 books which were considerably darker than usual. But yeah, I also hope it's not happy. Actually I'd be ok if Harry died. I mean I'd bawl my eyes out for a couple hours but it's honestly really fitting for the story

I don't know how to describe it Mani..... . Parts of it I really liked (when they were at the ministry) but I just feel like it was missing something on an emotional level. Maybe after I sleep on it I won't sound like such a bumbling idiot

I agree. They should do what LOTR did and have extended dvds come out. You make more $ that way too studio producer people.

And yea I agree... I'm just nervous cuz I read some supposed spoilers for the 7th book and like, how they said it ended was absolutely horrendous and basically if they were right I'm suing. But hopefully it was not real, cuz it wasn't from a very legitimate source.

Re: The "7 days and counting" Potterlicious thread!

You know, I was always totally up for reading spoilers for anything, including previous Harry Potter books (like the plot line and everything....not who died and whatnot), but ever since I started watching LOST I gave up every type of spoiler lol. But I really hope whatever you read isn't true |:

I'd stay up and watch but I need to wake up early tomorrow....ugh. Let me know how it was! Maybe youtube will have it later. Have fun gushing over him (;
