The Delray Beach ITC has already signed two of the Top 15 players in the world to play — No. 9 James Blake and No. 13 Tommy Haas — and Baron believes the big winners are the fans who will have the opportunity to see more of the marquee players.

DELRAY BEACH ITC PRE-QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

Delray Beach—Plantation's Olivier Sajous, a 19-year-old Florida Atlantic University freshman, won the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships Pre-Qualifying Tournament by beating Vadim Demchyshyn of Northbrook, Illinois 6-2, 6-2 Tuesday at the Delray Beach Stadium & Center.

As champion of the 128-player field, Sajous earned a wild card into the Delray Beach ITC's qualifying tournament, scheduled for January 27, 2007. Four qualifiers advance from that tournament into the Delray Beach ITC main draw, which will be held January 28 - February 4. World-ranked James Blake (4) and Tommy Haas (11) have already committed to play in the event.

"I can't wait to call my father (in Haiti) and tell him I won the event," said Sajous, a five-time member of the Haitian Davis Cup team. "I felt a lot of pressure going into the finals, but I'm extremely excited that I won."

In the semifinals, Sajous beat 2005 winner Adrian Bohane, preventing the West Palm Beach resident from becoming the first player to win the pre-qualifying tournament twice.

Men's Open Singles (Semifinal Round)
Olivier Sajous (Plantation) d. Adrian Bohane (West Palm Beach) 3-6; 6-1; 6-1
Vadim Demchyshyn (Northbrook, IL) d. Daniil Arsenov (Coral Springs) 7-5; 6-1

Men's Open Singles (Final Round)
Sajous d. Demchyshyn 6-2; 6-2

Excellent Blaze, have a great time (and take plenty of sunscreen or I will hunt you down and hurt you ).

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

It's not a waste of money for anyone, regardless of skin color. You can still get skin cancer and wrinkle prematurely. You can't say I didn't warn you.
