Where is he?

He basically disappeared off the face of the earth after Valencia. What is going on, is he going to be playing again anytime soon?

You haven't heard? He is on paternity leave.

And he's also trying to rehab his heel.

Yes, Janko is a dad now. He has a beautiful little girl named Emili.

Re: Where is he?

I'm reviving this old thread to find out if anyone knows when Janko plays next. After he did so well in China, I was a bit surprised not to see his name in the Madrid qualifying draw. Does anybody know what Janko's playing schedule is from now through Roland Garros?

He was meant to play the Korea Challenger swing - Gimcheon, Seoul and Busan - but has withdrawn from all three for "Personal" reasons.

His next scheduled event is Roland Garros.

Re: Where is he?

He didn't enter Rome Q either (or anything else next week for that matter). I find it weird, he is already ranked inside the top 100 and could've entered ATP tournaments but he chose to grind it out in China. Maybe he wants to avoid Q at all He's entered Geneva the week before RG so we'll see if he goes there as MD only or tries to qualify. Then he'll play RG.

His current ranking of #62 shouldn't change much before Geneva because he has no points to defend from now until the Geneva draw date. Hmmm, a puzzling schedule, but who knows what's going on in his personal life.
