Re: Janko in Viena

Good luck Janko - hope he can teke his new found good form into this event. Isner is a tough draw though - especially if Janko is feeling a bit tired and depresed after today

Ajde Janko

Re: Janko in Viena

I think its a great draw personally. The one thing to worry about is the fact that he's gone to two consecutive finals - so his fitness may be a little suspect. But against Isner, you're not going to have many drawn out rallies. Of course, he'll be tough to break, etc, but the points will be quick, with minimal running around, even if he's on court 2 hours.

Re: Janko in Viena

He won 7-6 6-4!!
apparently when almost all the players are "almost dead" due to a long season, Janko is with all the fuel and power

Well no, not if you only look at those two facts. But if you look at it in the context of what i meant, and take into account he was likely to face a seed, it was a pretty good draw. As the result has proved.

he has 50:50 chance to play against seed. i know what you meant and that's true but it's not good when you play against big server on indoor court and you are so tired because of two consecutive finals.

bravo janko
