Well - if you come over next year - please let me know and it would be great to meet up Btw - Entry List for Zagreb is out and JM is not on it so I guess I was too hopeful! Perhaps he will just use that week for preparation and practice if he is chosen for DC.

oh i am sorry your hopes didn't come true about Zagreb! maybe the DC is more real for JMDP than what we thought.

Spanish, sorry..
Delpo WC in Auckland?

Planes para crecer

Del Potro apuesta rápido

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

thanks for the article!

Translation
Plans to grow up

The article briefly said that after thinking and study the situation so much, JMDP decided not to play at home in the Copa Telmex in Buenos Aires. The reasons: he make a priority to play on fast surfaces instead of play the clay latinamerican season in february which occurs at same time of hard season in the States.

Having a look on his calendar we can say he wants hardly to do well on fast courts. So he decided, even with pain, not to play at home in front of his family and friends and argentinian people in Buenos Aires. As most of his countrymen JMDP (18) wants to get good results in the first GS of the year, the Australian Open. He wants also to do well on fast courts to make Mancini consider him a choice for Davis Cup team in Austria next february. So he will play Adelaida and Auckland before Australian Open and Memphis and Las Vegas after. These last tournaments are both on hard indoors.
"I does better on fast courts and playing on that suface i got my best results. My actual ranking (91) allows me to enter the tournaments without playing the qually and i have to use the benefits of this situation at maximum", JMDP said, showing his anxiety to rise to the top positions soon.

Re: Del Potro's News and Articles

Brief translation
The article said JM started the year with an easy victory to the unknowen japonese Go Sodea and the best part is the comment. "The best from Del Potro came from his service: never was broken and fired 8 aces"

Re: Del Potro's News and Articles

About the match of today in TyC Sports

Brief summary
The article said JM played very solid against Henrych and got a clear win over him 6-2, 6-4, and so he is vey close to the Quarter finals of Adelaida. He can reach it even losing to Matheiu. But if this happens he has to wait the results of the match Mathieu-Henrych. If JM wins he just will get the QF.

Thanks for your translations, Maria.

Going into Adelaide, I knew he was possibly borderline on having to play qualies for Memphis, but if I understand the points for RR correctly, I think he's almost certainly high enough - or will be - for direct acceptance. I bought SF and F tickets yesterday, and the last couple of years have had unexpected players at that point, so hopefully it holds true again this year.

Don't worry Anna - JM has every intention of playing in Memphis, and I'm 99.9% sure he will get Direct Entry Enjoy yourself.
