I truly have nothing to post Man what a loss for whatever reason.

WTF moment. Kamke played terrific tennis- really a joy those DTL's I consider myself a fan of Delpo but he can't play with the big boys if he loses like this.

I just saw this post from you in GM,how can you say he can't play with the big boys when just last week he beat 2 of them and played a close match in the final? Besides all the big 4 had similar loses.

Re: Delpo 2013 cheering thread- Indian Wells next.

Expected early loss. I'd have preferred a withdrawal but this will do. He has one month to fully heal his left wrist before the clay season starts

MTF games titles:

Suicide Tennis (5): Wimbledon 2014, World Tour Finals 2015, Madrid 2015, Kuala Lumpur 2014 and Metz 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 WTF, 1 Masters 1000, 2 ATP 250; 2 finals lost

Fill-in-the-Draw (3): US Open 2014, Rotterdam 2013 and Geneva 2015 - 1 Slam, 1 ATP 500 and 1 ATP 250

Tennis Tipping (3): Veneza and Todi 2014 (with vn01), Knoxville 2015 (with Redkop) - 3 challengers; 7 finals lost

Yeah, I'm sure he will alright, I just hope he and his doctor find a way to prevent this problem from occuring again.

everyone has WTF early losses. He gets such a good rest to fully recover and prepare sufficiently for clay so its for the best.

Re: Delpo 2013 cheering thread- Indian Wells next.

Read this on GM; thanks to the poster Yolita. If this is true then it all makes sense as I have never seen him tank a match like he did the second set.

Miami R2: Tobias Kamke def. Del Potro 7-6(5) 6-1

These are tweets by Guillermo Salatino, an Argentinian tennis commentator.

‏@GuilleSalatino

Termino el partido fue conf a los 5' y voló a Tandil. Problemas familiares. Que se resuelvan, Delpo

@GuilleSalatino

Nos pidieron no ahondar en el tema pero explica el #2 set en donde Delpo estuvo desconocido. No quiso usarlo como excusa, nos dijeron

Translation:

He finished the match, went to his presser 5 minutes later and flew to Tandil. Family problems. I hope they get solved, Delpo.

We were asked not to dwell on the subject but it explains the second set, where Delpo was unrecognisable. We were told that he didn't want to use this as an excuse.

I had thought surely there was more to that lost than just his wrist! I hope whatever the family problems are they are settled quickly

Re: Delpo 2013 cheering thread- Indian Wells next.

Hey guys here's an update of the news I found today, and posted to my fanclub so reposting here for you.

Delpo confirmed it was a family health problem but it was all resolved, he also said that he has a "grade 1 wrist ligament strain" from @raulfiber a respected argentine journalist.

Grade 1 means its a minor pain which can be resolved through rest.

Re: Delpo 2013 CHEERING THREAD

I got to see Delpo practise in Queens and got a chance to meet him for the second time. Delpo was as ever a complete gentleman and was very patient and gentle with me. He even came into the court, looked at me as if he recognised me and said hello. As far as the practise was concerned, he started off slow and built up to more intense games and was practising a lot of moving groundstrokes and droppers.

Nice

His season has been nothing short of calamitous so far, so many injuries and illness Hopefully the second half of the season can bring some better luck.
