Well let's not get ahead of ourselves here please since we have no idea what his schedule is next year
And I, other then folks questioning why he did not do the Asian swing ,think his scheduling was ok. He played lower tier tournies where he could make it through to later rounds and thus gain points and rankings. And many of his draws stunk because he was still ranked low and played upper ranked players early at the slams and Masters. Personally the only thing I saw this year which I wish had been better was his stamina. That's what did him in IMO and he had the tear in his thigh in Madrid and now the shoulder. Although I think that the shoulder most likely was not that bad. I think he and his crew decided that by bowing out of Paris he did not have to make any excuses for not making it into the WTF and thus having lots of rest for DC. I can just see the press and other players in Argentina crucifying him if the same scenario happened as in 2008.
