Re: Dusan Lajovic

Into the quarters in his next event now, a 15k Italy futures. Very winnable quarter final too. His points from last week didn't go up yet, so when this week and last week are added, he'll be comfortably inside the top 350. If he could win this event (Crugnola is probably the hardest opponent in the draw), then he'll be close to top 300.

Ahead of Krajinovic soon?

Re: Dusan Lajovic

Another win last night, although a tight 3 setter against a low ranked player (in the 900's). So, into the 2nd round in another 15k futures event in Italy. If he does well in a couple more of these, he'll be playing challengers for sure soon. Just going to miss out on RG/Wimbledon qualies by the looks of it, which is a shame.

Is it top 100-200 who can enter the qualies in RG/Wimbledon? I forget this every year

Re: Dusan Lajovic

Yep. Cut off last year I believe was 239. He actually stands a pretty good chance of Wimbledon now. RG has gone because the cut off is 6 weeks before RG, which means it'll be announced after next week and the points for this tourney don't go up for two weeks. But yeah, Wimbledon is definately a possibility now. He's showing Ciric like form here . Main difference of course, is that Ciric is much older.

Ciric form? I would say "Nole" form 2 singel titles in an row, and an total of 3 titles this year soo far. But i get your point, Ciric run last year was great.

He didn't win 3 titles, only 2 so far this season

Tristan, I think that cut-off for RG is for MD, not qualies

Re: Dusan Lajovic

He lost 75 46 16 to Trevisan Well I guess that he needs some rest. Seriously, he should avoid playing futures from now on, especially extremely good Italian ones. Better try his luck on some challenger

But lets not forget, Futures points go up after only 2 weeks, so, in reality, unless he plays challengers, he only has theis week and next to collect points to boost rankings in time for cut off?
