Re: Filip Krajinovic

I don't think his confidence should be influenced by those two loses.
Both matches were competitive.
Today's one was against in-form player who won two challengers a month or so ago and is at his carrer high at the moment.

Well it might not be influenced but it wouldn't harm him to play some more matches now, even if he has to play qualifications. He'll play no more than 3 tournaments till the end of the year most likely and he played only 2 matches in last 30 days...

Not my way of thinking. I'd prefer to know what would benefit him (in the future).

True, same thinking here and I think it would benefit him to play a bit more now. Do you think he would get better results if he decided to play US hard court challengers after he came back from Europe? I think he would but playing on clay now will benefit him in the long run. His team decided that he should continue playing on clay till the end of the season, few more tournaments. And now after he lost 2 first round matches he can skip Ecuador cos he doesn't want to play qualifications and add two more weeks before he plays again in Peru. That would be month and a half with only 2 matches played. So I hope he plays qualies in Ecuador. If he doesn't get some WC out of nowhere .

Re: Filip Krajinovic

He's on the entry list for Puebla challenger in Mexico after Peru one, so he decided to end season on the hard court after all. Ecuador is next week, but he's not in the main draw for now. In Peru and Mexico he will be in the main draw so it's 2 or 3 tournaments left till the end of the year. He'll lose 60 points in 2 weeks so I hope he gets some results and stays in top 300. After that he has only QF points from Bucamangra challenger in January to defend till the end of the June, big room for gaining some points.

Yeah, just saw it. Guy is 19 yr old and has no rank so I hope there should be no troubles there. Good luck .

Just checked on itf site - Leonardo is Nico's and Giovanni's brother.

It's just as you hoped for - Filip plays qualies in Ecuador

Good luck!

Yeah, exactly as I hoped for . There would be no use for him to play only 2 matches in 45 days now when season is near end and he needs some points to secure AO qualifications.
Yeah, it's Nico's brother. Second round should be also be somewhat easy, 2 wild cards are his possible opponents, one is 18 and ranked outside of top 1000 and other guy is just 16 and has no rank. Possible final round is a guy ranked at 331 but hope Filip won't have any problems there either. Only problem that I might think of is high altitude and if he's going to adapt fast enough.

Re: Filip Krajinovic

This is going faster than I expected. 6-3 6-2 to go through to the final Q round. Pella awaits, who has been pretty convincing himself. GL Filip.
