Re: Filip Krajinovic

Filip getting bossed around a bit too much for my liking. 2:3*

Magnificent BH CC passing shot to get him to 3:4*

Re: Filip Krajinovic

Fuck yeah!!! After waisting break points in most of H.G games he breaks back on Jesse's UE.

Don't blow it straight away man!

Yeesss!!! An ace to put him in front 5:4. Break him for the set now!

Re: Filip Krajinovic

Yeah, the match is OK... Filip just surenders the momentum back, getting broken for 5:6*

Lost the the set 5:7... shame, he had his chances there. Hope he doesn't fall of the cliff now, putting more first serves in would definitely help. Ajde!!!

Ελα ρε μαλάκα!!!... same story as in the first, getting broken to start. 0:1*

Re: Filip Krajinovic

Lost... 57 06
His serve deserted him today, was going for his shots, but they went long at crucial moments...

Still good tournament, only the fourth after his comeback. I liked how he played this tournament, just needs more matches, imo, definitely on the right track.

Re: Filip Krajinovic

Really good tournament for Filip, lots of positive things. He is not ready for this type of match.... yet. First set was really of high quality, strong hitting from both. I expected Jesse to make a bit more errors under those conditions, but he was too good today. Filip missed some easy putaways, but then again he did make some briliant plays, which was not easy today, against an oponnent who was firing from all weapons.

Re: Filip Krajinovic

Agree on all ^. I was hoping that Filip could build up on his confidence from previous match and that, experience being on Jesse side and mentality on Filip's, the latter would prevail.

Re: Filip Krajinovic

A pity for that first set. He is closing the gap I think.

Re: Filip Krajinovic

Didn't expect WC for tournament of this strength. Great! Does that mean that IMG is far from giving up on him, when they are working out WCs of this quality?
Probably kindest draw he could get, if there is a kind draw for this level. Let's see if he can build on that.

Ferrer in the 2nd round is as tough as it gets, but can't really complain, WC into tournament like this is awesome

“There’s so many athletes, tennis players around the world,” he continued, trying to put his life into some kind of perspective, “they want to be the best in what they do. They want to succeed. Many of them, they don’t succeed in the end. I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and succeed.”

Yeah, I meant more on the first round. It would be great if he could score one on this level, at this moment. Then again, it is reported that Ferrer has some issues, so who knows...
