Most be something like that. Also, those catholic priests and monks have taken the vow of celibacy, so they have to lock out sexuality from their life which, IMO, can't be done. So, when struggling with feelings of desire and lust and such for years and years, it's easier to put the blame on the person you lust after rather than looking towards yourself.

It's not an excuse, though. Celibacy, even if I don't agree with it, isn't to blame for being such a sick bastard.
I mean, it's not because a catholic priest can't handle celibacy that they will turn to pedophile acts. Many of them just have a relationship with a consenting adult. When growing up in a catholic family, our priest had a relationship with a widow and it was known throughout the parish. The man was a good priest and most people were happy for him and the woman that they found happiness together. He's now retired and left the priesthood so that he can live together with the woman.

Roddick retires. I didn't see that one coming.

Well, obviously, it was in the cards. The man can't keep on playing forever but I figured he'd still play a couple more years.

I wonder if he'd turn to being a tv commentator.

He should stay around and have the pressers instead of his colleagues. Just imagine speaking for rogieGOAT when he ( finally ) loses. Although Fed can be a rather juicy loser himself

Re: Rafachat - vol. 79. we all want Rafa back, even the haters

Did you see this one?

Apparently (I've got this from VB), in an interview with the Tennis Channel, Lleyton Hewitt said the following about his son Cruz:
"Daddy's not his favourite player. Rafa is. That's hard to take."

Interview (Rafa quote at 5:23)
(I'll have to listen to it at home)

Lleyton, now there's a retirement waiting to happen. I'll still miss him heaps but then again, I'm already having lots of practice since you don't get to see him in action all that much these days.

I didn't expect Roddick to retire before Hewitt. It's sad for his fans but I don't care much either way. The only thing I'm sorry for is that he didn't get to win Wimbledon in 2009.

Little Hewitt liking Rafa better than his own father, now that's funny

Betty!

Yeah Hilde, it's gonna be tough, Roddick, Hewitt, JCF all eventually retiring soon. Only Haas still hanging tough. So all the New Balls guys gone. And Nalby is a walking injury anyway, will also probably retire soon, hope they'll win at least the DC before (either this year or next).

Lleyton's kids are absolutely aodrable.
Well, Evita, Roddick the former Champ dropping out of top 10 and having those niggles preventing from being in top shape, he wasn't going hang around for the top 50.

FAN OF THE BEAUTY

Because that's how the ATP promoted that generation (Roddick, Safin, Ferrero, Hewitt and others) when they started to climb in the ranking.

New balls please!

He claims he absolutely does not want to do that. He said that last year at the USO when he visited the commenter's booth. But, people change their minds. His plan is to work on his foundation and on youth tennis around his home. He also wants to spend time with his dog. He said that he still enjoys the innocent side of tennis -- hitting the tennis ball and he thinks he will still do that.

The press conference was really nice. Andy seemed very relaxed and smiled and laughed a lot. There were times when he seemed to be a little emotional, and he said he had prepared himself for tears during the interview, but said he must have gotten that all out of his system earlier. Mardy was there and so was Brooklyn as well as his team.

So cute! Children are such great humblers. If someone thinks that they will have children because the little ones will grow to worship them, they are sadly mistaken.
