Oops, I thought I was posting in the old thread I am sure you will all be interested to know that the Anand-Gelfand match is dead-locked at half distance. All six games so far ended in draws.

I don't think I have picspammed posted Gelfand's picture. Here he comes:

I know that they do run computer matches
Don't fool yourself that only programmers care. Chess is becoming more and more boring by the influence of computers and the computer like style of the human players. Where are the genius attacks like Fischer and Kasparov did them today? As the computers become more and more powerful they start to scarify pieces for positional advantage. hopefully the humans follow this trend.
