Same can be said for Fed though I doubt you'd find any Fed fan to claim that 2011 was a wonderful year...

Evita the voice of reason as always. I hope that too.

Well if you are all this happy and relaxed we can cheer the next couple matches together and I throw in some German jokes.

I'm really happy with his year and, if he had lost 6 finals to, lets say, Murray( because we all know that for rafa losing 6 times in a row to Fed is not really possible ), I would have been even more content.

Quote:

Awwww, you think at all those years of Fed dominace when Rogie kept losing to rafa... here, here, i was clay, didnt really count...
I see a difference. Most matches were very close (think Wimbledon) while with the Rafa-Nole matchup he just gets owned. But yeah of course also somewhat similar to Fedal. I'm pointing that out also because people (probably you guys) said how embarrassing it is for Fed that he keeps on losing vs Nadal.

Quote:
Look, I'm bothered even if Nole wins Belgrad so I cant argue with you here. But what bothers me most is that he wins not that he wins beating rafa. the fact that he won Wimbledon is already is a tragedy in itself, doesnt matter much who he beat in the final....
Finally some common ground to build on.

Quote:
I just want rafa to go back to his clay/grass skills, fuck the HC His stubberness to prove himself on HV destroyed his clay/grass game
be happy, winning all Slams is probably greater then winning 8 RG's.

Fed was the only one to handle Nole last year, Nole toyed with Nadal most of their encounters, it's not just a matter of "points here and there" it was total ownage really Rafa was extremely lucky to avoid Nole at RG.

Re: Excited for another super successful AO - Rafachat Vol. 76

Federer vs Djokovic in 2011: 1-4

US Open - winner: Djokovic, Novak
6-7(7), 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 7-5

Roland Garros - winner Federer, Roger
7-6(5), 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5)

Indian Wells - winner Djokovic, Novak
6-3, 3-6, 6-2

Dubai U.A.E. Winner Djokovic, Novak
6-3, 6-3

Australian Open - Winner: Djokovic, Novak
7-6(3), 7-5, 6-4

Yup, Federer really whooped Novak's ass in 2011.

Take those 6 finals Rafa lost to Nole, Nole of course owned Rafa
Not gonna tell which of them Rafa SHOULD've won

Where is P.Antonius that used to say that only results count

I'm sure Fed is very happy that he almost handled Nole at USO
You stay with your handling of Nole 1/5 and I'll keep the GS, OK?

Still managed to live with him way better than Rafa. And Fed is in obvious decline, he mugged around and lost to some other players he'd never lose to in his prime. Thing is Nadal was owned by someone of his generation, a thing that never happened to Fed, will for sure taint any GOAT expectation for Rafa (if there ever was any anyway)...
