Needless to say, I didn't notice that detail in the photo Of course "big Vlad" refers to Vladimir Kramnik.

I am watching Berdych-Tomic from the Kooyong slam taped right now The prospects do not look good for following too much from the coming AO.

Aussie press are so talking up Tomic it's not funny.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Merton did you see my question about chess in the old thread?

BTW: Compared to Kasparov Federer is very humble!

Re: Anticipating another failure at the AO - Rafachat Vol. 76

Last year was a pretty bad year for Rafa. He was ill in Doha and at the AO. I want to hope this year will be better. I want to hope things will be better for him this year. I am trying to hold on to hope. Last year was an awful year for both Rafa and me, and I need some hope. Reading negative posts makes me very depressed.

For heaven's sake, last year was far from his best year but it wasn't that bad either.

If are 47 and you take hope for your life from a tennis player something is pretty wrong.

Find another inspiration or by the time you turn 50 you will be very very depressed.
