That's exactly what I thought at the time. It wasn't like he had a crazy amount of time time stand and line up his head!

Some people are looking for reasons to feel offended.

Re: Comedy and tragedy thread - Rafachat Vol. 76

so you go from being a big fan off berdych to hating him because he misinterpreted almagro's actions and didn't shake hands? or was there something else?

are we going down the line to inform jayjay if we did or did not report him to save scoobs the trouble? I didn't report you jayjay but I also think it's a report worthy offence to call someone a pedophile.

I had an ugly taste from the moment he didn't accept the apology after the incident. After that the refusal compounded it. I don't feel I could be a fan of both after watching that unfold. The negativity in the stadium was insane

Almagro may not be winning beauty competitions but if he'd be a hot looking guy, he'd be forgiven for one hell of a lot more.
Almagro may not be a total sweetheart either but he wasn't at fault in that famous incident against Safin either (in Portugal IIRC) when Safin refused to shake his hand.
Oh so the qf could be in danger? I watched the whole match vs Li Na, looked bad when it happened in the 2nd set but she kept on playing fine. Would be sad.

You want a badrep too?
And NO NO NO, it were Nico's usual antics and vamosing into opponent's face that annoyed Safin.

Now after thinking about it Berdych certainly should've shook Almagro's hand because indeed it wasn't anything intentional this time and he tried to apologize. The crowd's reaction was NID actually, not good from Berdych to call that on himself again, after the Madrid experience.
I still liked the match, was pretty good quality IMO.
Sorry you had to go through that bad aftertaste. Even if Nico has a bad image (on MTF for sure) he is no monster of course.

Safin annoyed? That’s hard to believe. Such a calm, even-tempered guy! Who would have thought.

A reporter later asked Berdych what he meant by the mistake Almagro made, the Czech star mumbled, "breathing".

It depends who its amongst. He knows damn well it's a joke (even if it might be in poor taste), and he's often said some pretty unpleasant things to me, none of which I take seriously.

It doesn't matter who it was, anyway. I'm sure whoever it was has got the message by now.

Star, you want to be like Hilde's minion?
Why I don't like Nico is I have seen his antics in other matches that have annoyed me, he does vamos and clinch a fist almost into opponet's face and so. It's not the looks why I dislike him.

Edit: and Jay, I haven't reported anyone. I couldn't have done that even on accident.
JM will probably never talk to me now and I don't even know how that could've happened today.

What a baby. I’d have like to see him try to take the net against Lendl who deliberately hit players at the net and had no remorse.

Is Almagro not to play his shot because he might hit a player?

Naah, Tomas likes to act like a baby sometimes, just like Safin did. I still like them.
