I have a little rant -- probably not the most popular position, but we spend millions and millions of dollars trying to figure out how to make women who can't have babies have babies when there are already too many people in the world. Now I just read an article about how having an artificial pancreas can help women with diabetes better cope with a pregnancy. I mean, I guess some women are overcome with the idea that they can't get pregnant or can't manitain a pregnancy until term. And, the science is interesting, but it seems a flawed bit of prioritizing or maybe it's market driven science. And please do not get me started on the tax breaks given to families with 15 children.
