Think how crushed he would have been for the start of next year if they'd lost. When he wins the AO we'll see how much you enjoy it.

We'll see.

LOL @ SCotland. 4 inches of snow in Glasgow this morning and the public transport network collapses, there abandoned cars everywhere, lots of shops are closed, the schools shut at lunchtime ...

Lessons learned from last year then

Sure, unless somebody who has not done so before wants to open the new thread. The... original titles will be back

I went to see King Lear the other day with Tsakiroglou. Not a bad performance and the ending was extremely moving. Interesting view by the director with modern costumes/set and live hard rock music.

Though I have to say I've never seen so many shirtless guys in a Shakespeare play before.

It also reminded me of Cheryl.
Tsakiroglou is a student of Alexis Minotis and he is a purist with respect to ancient Greek tragedies. It is interesting that he is original for King Lear. He is awesome, I have always been impressed by him. It is one of the plays I wanted to watch this year but I think it is over now. I want to go to Lesing's "Emilia Galloti" in the National Theatre at some point this season.
