Belgium has a habit of sending weird stuff because we usually don't stand a chance in that voting system anyway.
I can't remember what we sent last year other than that it was utter crap (and not in a good way).
Usually we take turns in picking songs. Last year, Flanders got to pick a song
, this year, it's Wallonia's turn (and they usually select slightly better songs in all honesty).
For once someone labels the thread with the tournament name and
the year so that we don't confuse it with threads from previous years.
Do I detect sarcasm there.
Andreea...hmm...not easy to translate that sort of stuff because I'm thinking in Dutch and those are not terms I'm familiar with in English.. I'll give it a go:
écompte...voorheffing in Dutch. (bedrijfsvoorheffing) I'm not sure what the correct word for it is in English but in this case, it's the tax on labour and it's deducted from the wages beforehand (hence the "pr
é"). Companies have to transfer the money to the government.
Simplified, it means that the government tries to encourage companies to transfer that "pr
écompte" well in advance by letting them to pay well in advance on regular intervals, giving them a tax deduction as a result.
So, you can either pay with regular intervals well in advance (every quarter of the year) or you pay it at the end of the term but you'll have to pay more.
TTC = Toutes Taxes Comprises (all taxes included)
