So, now you are a Fedasco and no longer a Fedal? I can understand and empathize with having many favorite players, but not quite understanding how you can proclaim Nadal as being tied with Federer as your top favorite, and still be gutted when Nadal wins a great match. No happiness for Nadal at all? At all?

Gilbert said Rafa was absolutely spent when he interviewed him. He was doubled over when he met him in the tunnel for the interview. Also he said his hands looked awful. Although Gilbert is totally on the Rafa love train, he said that it was going to be difficult to get Rafa in shape to play the final.

It's so wonderful that Rafa is in his first hardcourt final. I'm thrilled for him too.

Never in doubt.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Rafa's English has improved a lot.

Uh oh

Be with calm Hema. I'm afraid you'll have to endure a lot since Federer will win without a doubt on Sunday. I suggest you take your revenge at night. Give him a few kicks or slaps while he's sleeping.

Don't worry about Genci, he deserved it. Besides, he was enjoying it; the more pissed off people in here got, the more he was giggling in front of his computer.

Come on Mikey. Think of all the matches they have played on HC and how they turned out. Think of all the HC slams Federer has won. No reason to worry, especially given Rafa's tough SF. Even you don't believe it won't have an effect on his game I'm sure.

Re: The AO Battlefield Chat Thread

ok after the match rafa said to bg that he was expecting a tough match since ferdie beat murray & tsonga, rafa said it was a tough match, Sunday is gonna be tough, Roger had 2 days off and his match was only 3 sets, roger has the advantage, but this is his (Rafa's) best ever start to a season

Also SportsCenter emphasized The Debated Point for their highlight reel.

ssshh, as if Rafatitio is the player now he was 2 years ago ... Fedmug couldnt even beat him on grass last year, and now he should beat him on HC *gives the VERDASCO hand sign!!!*

he wont be as fresh but he'll be as solid as ever coz he knows what Fedmug turns into when he plays him

ffs Nando, you should have Ko'd him, now you've blown Fed GOAT record day

i need JM back to hold me

So now it's his hands.
Rafa will lose worse than Rogelio in the RG final last year.

to the nth power.

can we go one day without asking where my loyalties lie? seriously people. maybe y'all can just take up a seat inside my head and direct traffic.

i'm gutted because nando played amazing in this tournament and lost at the end on a DF. a fucking DF. something one always expected from him in the past and i had finally felt hope that he had overcome this problem. he fought so hard and who knows how many chances he'll get to be this close to a GS final or win again? unlike a bandwagoner, i'm still too aware that this success could be very fleeting.

it had nothing to do with my feelings for rafa. if it helps you sleep better, i would also have rooted for him to win the final against roger if he had made it.
