It's true Federer has plenty of experience when it comes to HC Slam finals, but on the other hand he never had to face Rafa
or ...Verdasco for that matter.
Yes and we know Fed.won't like facing Verdasco on HC finals.
for ur optimism, Meto.
But on a serious note, i think it 'll/ must be a hard stuff trying to delete such idea from ur head while playing the final. Speaking ofcourse about Fed's opponent's head.
His experience helped him against Marcos who was on the verge of being 2 sets up in 2006.
Baggy has a real issue with his confidence as well.
I think it started as trolling but developed into something else; sometimes when you say something too many times you end up believing it.
Alternatively it's as Hema said: he actually worships Nadal but he has to keep up with the comedy so as not to lose face
On trying to push the pression aside and finding a stress antidote other than sleeping ; Is there any odds that Safina'd defeat Serena ??
EDIT: Betty, Hilde, everyone

ANDY RODDICK: Have you been here for the entire press conference?

Q. You handled that quite well. I'm impressed.
ANDY RODDICK: Thank you. You make a lot of statements and don't ask any questions
