Roger just said who he thought as the favourite (when asked) again, how was his answer off the line, why shouldn't he be entitled to genuinely think he's the favourite? it's not like he's some harcourt slam's mug, is he?

Not at all! Everyone in science and their dog have made biology their business nowadays (directly or indirectly) especially in engineering. The 21st century belongs to biotechnology.

Federer's the greatest tennis player ever. That doesn't mean other players can't question him. They just do so at their own risk. If they can't back it up on the court they look like jagoffs. Muzza does more than all right against Federer; however, I do agree with you (and Fed) that Muzza needs to make some noise in a slam before all this hype is truly justified.

Ah, shit, I'm not telling you anything Scoobs doesn't tell you on a daily basis. He's a lot better at this, so I'll tag him back in now.

How can you not work that one in?!?!?!/11?/1? This thread is 94% pet-related.

And yes, it was random.

Well Andy merely suggested Roger should be the favourite and that maybe such things matter to him more.

I don't see the problem here with what he said

Ty Metis, I really try when our people are dragged though the mud that way. JM is a broken record with that one.

How are you doing?

Andy's a native English speaker, nobody will miss the sarcasm I'm convinced Fed was just being honest (even if it can hurt sensitive souls ). Big difference here...

Ah well I'm sure Andy would have genuflected in FedGod's direction instead if he'd know just how pissy his fans were going to get over a little cute remark

You're missing the point entirely (at least from my end) it has nothing to do with Murray's remark but with posters reactions to them. And yes I do include you in that group

Roger will always take more heat for what he says. People will never weigh his comments equally.
