OMG adorableness x infinity

Watch "Rafa off court"

OMG :bigcry: Really, who cares if he wins today when he has that smile
You must really like this video.

It's good.

Don't worry Linda, I will behave

Besides, certain posters will avoid the thread because they will not know the meaning of the word coup :D
 Just those of us with three or more braincells will understand.

Since I've just moved the previous current volume to the blog section over the top of them they will probably not be noticed now, so in case anyone wanted to know I split 2 more volumes of the thread today cos I had nothing better to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon
You're awesome, Peta.

and I just saw that Dancevic qualified too! That's awesome news for me, it seems like he's been injured forever :awww:

Yes, the Man delivered. :worship: Kasparov crushed Short 6-1 in wins, a huge score for that level in chess.

Merton don't you dare change the title to something unpleasing :armed:

Maybe we should stick to "Rafa fangirls and Fedtard fans"

*nervous*

   You were right to be nervous, Linda. Merton is dangerous.

These Greeks cannot be trusted--first Xristos (Purplegate), then Metis (Snookergate), and now Merton (Rogelina-love-in-the-title-gate).

I fear Getta will turn on us next. :tears:

That's a beatdown Merton and who ended up winning that chess match with the Indian guy and the Bulgarian dickhead.

I like Bulgaria, very nice country good food and it's cheap.

George, Anand won decisively in the very last game of the match. :D Best part was the Bulgarians using excused and whining afterwards.

Wonder if there was much betting going on this match Merton, if so was Anand the underdog?

The betting markets for chess are not deep but Topalov was the slight favourite before the match. It was reasonable, Topalov had the higher ranking, he looked like a difficult match up for Anand, and the match was taking place in Bulgaria.

After the match we found out that Kasparov, Kramnik and Carlsen (the two previous champs and the current #1 ranked player) all helped Anand for this match. An unprecedented fact for chess, it reveals how much theses guys dislike Topalov and especially his manager Danailov.

Re: Merton launches a coup, takes over thread Rafachat vol 25

During the game no outside help is allowed, actually these days players are not even allowed to have cell phones active. But top players have entire teams helping them to prepare, this is something the former Soviets started and perfected. Now they also use computers a lot but still strong backing is important.

Danailov claimed after the match that Topalov's second was more valuable than Kasparov, Kramnik and Carlsen combined. He also claimed his player totally dominated but could not deal the final blow. :awww:

I second scoobs, why are they bothered for adding clay on the court?
Maybe it's just general maintenance and some patches are getting worn.
