I don't think it was that rubbish, but he was annoyed with everything, he was not confident, got into discussions with the crowd in Spanish, and i felt he complained about everything.....
He is always like that, always talking to someone in the crowd or getting down on himself if he misses a shot. He knows how to play Davydenko on clay, there are certain patterns that work and have worked for him. He didn't use them at all. No doubt he was outplayed, but it was a poor showing.
I mean this is a guy that makes Ferrer look confident and Ferrer doesn't have the greatest self belief. Perfect example up 4-0 in the 5th set of a hard fought match, he misses a shot, says to Piles (Ferrer's coach) don't worry I am not going to win, and look what happened.
