The Chalet Girls!!! Yes, I remember that one too. One of the girls died after getting hit in the temple by a snowball with a stone in it. I was shit scared of temple injuries until I was about 20.

St Clare's was the one with the twins ... I want to say Pat and ....Isabel? And Carlotta who was an Italian girl who grew up in a circus (?) and after whom all my Barbies' babies were named

Brings up nice memories. In the Chalet Girls, the one book with Hitler and the school closes down for WWII, after reading that, I was fascinated by all things German for several years
