But why did you have to learn how to write Classical Arabic, isn´t the only use for Classical Arabic nowadays to speak with people speaking an other version of Arabic (Egyptian, Levantine and so on) and to read the Quran?

Yep,as Arabic isn't used in daily speak,Darija is different in every Maghrib region.
At school we had to,especially when reading the Q'oran,it had to be in Classical Arabic
And take y'all with me
